Greek mythology has always been a deep source of inspiration for me. I love capturing these ancient tales in my illustrations, bringing their characters —especially heroines— into a visually modern style that resonates with a contemporary audience.

✦ the summer I met barton ✦

Drawn in the summer of 2023, this short story (a intro, really) follows a boy who spends his summers alone at his grandmother’s house by the beach —until the day he finds a dog, and an extraordinary friendship begins. Through their bond, he comes to understand the quiet beauty of small joys and how deeply they shape our memories. The moments we share with those we love, no matter how simple, stay with us, weaving into the fabric of who we are.I created this piece at the start of my journey as a freelance illustrator, a time when I felt adrift in a new adventure. In many ways, this brief story became a reflection of my own experience —finding strength in the small but precious community around me, just as the boy finds meaning in the memories he carries forward.
